Hair day/Daraja-African children’s choir October 23, 2008

I’m so excited about my blog now I’m just writing about anything and everything. I started by getting my hair cut and colored, my stylist did a fabulous job(thanks Lisa…eres la bomba.

Tonight at Grace Fellowship we had an awesome African children’s choir, we packed out the house with 750 people. The children ministered in scripture, song, and dance, it was amazing. It was an honor to help serve in such a small way. Nathan was very touch I think he wanted to bring all home. He was reminded of how fortunate he was of having a bed, and a meal to eat. Alyanna just fell in love with their dancing and bright smiles.

It also reminded me of how selfish I’ve been of leaving family behind, These 9 and 10 year old children have left mom’s, dad’s, sibling to also answer the call. I am very humbled.

Here are a few pics.

    First & foremost…love the hair!
The kids look happy and I know meeting the children from Africa was a great experience for them.
You, Michael & the kids look very happy…the only thing missing…ME!
Enjoy your time in Bridgeport, share your love, compassion & faith then COME BACK HOME! Miss you terribly!
